i have a few crabby stories. overheard conversations about her. and people letting me know about her shenanigans. last week a friend messaged me to tell me he'd been walking through the harbor and saw crabby lugging a water bottle. it didn't make it to our place. but i'm learning that we aren't her only destination. i think her intention is always our garden. but she gets distracted or things get too heavy or the obstacle of fences prove too much for her. for tom overheard a neighbor complaining about the garbage building up at their back fence. and another neighbor explaining "it's that little cat. she carries garbage and can't get it through the fence."
and the other night at rudy and krista's one of our neighbor's up the street asked if we had a winter glove that crabby may have brought us. and he proceeded to perfectly describe the ripped up winter glove that i pictured in the last post or the post before. he'd been using them for heavy outdoor work, until she stole them both and brought them both to us in seperate yards. and unfortunately tom had just done the lawn and thrown them both away.
so that's the latest crabby news.....

  1. I love these stories. how big is she? she looks rather small. I always picture mine doing something like this. Lou is not the smartest, so that would make for some disastrous results. and Schnupfen is too tiny. give her a hug from me :)

    1. she is tiny. since she's been getting the steroid injections for her bowel issues she has gained some weight, but she's maybe 3 or 4 pounds. and not very smart. just determined and driven! lou and schnupfen are fantastic names. and they are beautiful too......from photos on your blog.

  2. Oh dear Crabby,
I think those neighbours must just understand, that you are doing what cat's do.
Its no offence to them, its just that you need those things to collect.
I think you are not too well with your bowels Crabby, because maybe you eat too much of the hoard you find. hope you get better soon.
    Sorry about the glove.
    have a happy cat day

  3. Oh dear...she is becoming the "talk of the town". HA There is nothing you can do to keep Crabby from "stealing", it has become a part of who she is. Do you remember the TV series It Takes A Thief? HA
